The COVID-19 pandemic threw a wrench into what many Wisconsinites considered “guarantees” of this year – taking in the sights, sounds and tastes of county fairs and festivals, cheering on our home teams from the stands, and even watching new episodes of your favorite shows.

PBS Wisconsin is right there with you. While our production teams adapt to the current landscape of video production and work to bring you all-new episodes of your favorite local shows soon, we’re excited to delve into the treasure trove of beloved local PBS Wisconsin programs to help us all celebrate our state’s culture, heritage and events – like the ones we all sorely miss this year.

We are excited to join two of our favorite Wisconsin explorers – Angela Fitzgerald, of Wisconsin Life, and Inga Witscher, of Around the Farm Table – Thursday nights this fall. They have curated an incredible season of episodes that will take you everywhere from the shipyards of Sturgeon Bay to the forest canopies of the Driftless Area.

Join Angela as she canoes a portion of the 44-mile-long Brule River, goes for the off-road ride of a lifetime at the Crandon International Raceway, joins the Menomonie Blue Caps for a game of vintage baseball and tours Fincantieri Bay Shipbuilding in Sturgeon Bay.

Around Inga’s farm table, it’s a celebration of seasonal bounty from all around the state! Meet goat farmers, urban greenhouse gardeners, and fruit and tea growers, then watch Inga turn their harvests into delicious dishes you can replicate in your own kitchen.

Wisconsin Life and Around the Farm Table return Thursday, Oct. 8. Tune in to PBS Wisconsin or watch all of these episodes and our entire collection of local programs – and more – online, anytime, at pbswisconsin.org.
