American Players Theatre (APT) and PBS Wisconsin share a new series of play readings, performed and recorded live with the APT Acting Company. This series of plays interrogates the idea of what makes a “classic” and focuses on plays by playwrights who are Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), collaborating with BIPOC directors and artists.

The play reading will be available through December 31, 2020.

Funding for APT’s Out of the Woods is provided by Arcadia Books, Dane Arts, Nancy A. McDaniel, Orange Tree Imports, Wilson Creek Pottery, the Focus Fund for Wisconsin Programming, and Friends of PBS Wisconsin.
