For over 50 years, the Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) State Honors Music Project has provided students from across the state the opportunity to rehearse and perform with nationally recognized conductors in a professional setting.

PBS Wisconsin is proud to present the 2025 WSMA State Honors Concerts, which celebrate the incredible talent of young musicians from across our state.

The broadcast airs 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 22, on PBS Wisconsin, with repeats later that night at 2 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 27.

The 2025 WSMA State Honors Concerts are also available at pbswisconsin.org and on the free PBS app.

The broadcast presentation features highlights from all five concerts: band, orchestra, treble choir, mixed choir and jazz. Each performance is the culmination of months of diligent effort beginning with an intensive summer camp, followed by hours of disciplined self-study. Students then travel to Madison in late October for two final days of rehearsals before taking the stage at Overture Center for the Arts.

PBS Wisconsin viewers can stream all five concerts in full, now, below — ahead of the Dec. 22 highlights broadcast.
