Beginning Aug. 24, Sunday nights on PBS Wisconsin are packed with suspense, sharp wit and emotional depth as three fan-favorite British dramas return with new seasons.

Professor T

Season 4 premieres 7 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24

After season 3’s shocking finale, Dan and Jasper are consumed by grief. Dan throws himself into work whilst the professor hides in his lectures, avoiding the police at all costs. But Helena, Jasper’s therapist, helps him face his police work and the team tackle some complex and dangerous cases. Even through the danger and mystery, love is very much in the air.

The Marlow Murder Club on Masterpiece

Season 2 premieres 8 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24

Life in the idyllic town of Marlow has just about returned to normal, but it’s not long before Judith, Becks and Suzie are called back into action, when a series of new unsettling crimes befall the local residents. Navigating the delicate balance of Marlow society – from local aristocracy to boatyard workers, the picturesque High Street to a newly established archaeological dig – the sleuthing trio dig into all corners of Marlow life as they assist DCI Tanika Malik in her official investigations.

Unforgotten on Masterpiece

Season 6 premieres 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 24

Unforgotten once again examines the lives of a disparate group of people linked to a cold case. We follow DCI Jess James, DI Sunny Khan and their team as they uncover the truth behind a dismembered body found in Whitney Marsh.

If anyone loves this Professor T, you may think differently if you can get Walter Presents which has the original Professor T. I believe from Belgium. Expands the definition of neurotic. I used to get it through Xfinity down here in South Florida. Walter Presents also has other foreign series. Our funding has just been cut severely – we need a few billionaires – my monthly donation is too small & doesn’t help much. Good luck and hope we all survive this brutal heat! (We have 3 PBS here)

  • @Greg Wofford,

I TOTALLY AGREE!! We really enjoyed Endeavor. The characters & plots were well thought out & the acting was superb.

  • Happy birthday to me! This is my birthday month and I have been waiting for the shows. Thank you what a treat; especially Professor T.

  • Just saw this on Google then I read it’s Wisconsin.
I’ve nothing against Wisconsin but I live in the North West of England so now I’m really disappointed 😞

Glad to see Marlow murder club and I have been waiting on professor T it will be hard to wait for it’s premiere.

  • I’m really looking forward to The Marlow Murder Club, and the others too. I always like watching DI Sunny Khan, he is a joy to watch.

      • Where do you live? PBS received 15% of its funding federally unless you’re in a very rural area. I’ve heard those areas were being hit harder as a percentage, don’t understand how that works. I have four different PBS stations avaliable in my state, the original, World, Create, and Kids. 15% shouldn’t be noticeable here.

        • PBS also has a free app for streaming. You can also join any PBS station in the country for as little as $5.00 per month which will give you access to Passport, a streaming service that airs the current programming of that station. The most comprehensive option is the streaming service MASTERPIECE, which is $7.99 per month (sometimes there are promos) and gives you access to almost all Masterpiece and Mystery! programs from years ago as well as many other shows for which PBS had rights. This can be downloaded from any PBS station website or you can subscribe via Amazon Prime Video, Apple+, Roku or other streaming platforms.

          • Exactly, I will join passport to support and masterpiece if a specific service. I quit watching PBS news a while ago, very sad they drifter from objective center, hard to find that anywhere today. But the programming should be available to subscribe or stream!
