If you watch Downton Abbey, you’re likely in awe of the Dowager Countess’ (Maggie Smith) wit. Stubborn wouldn’t even begin to describe Lady Violet, but despite her faults, there’s no doubt that Downton Abbey just wouldn’t be the same without her sharp tongue.
