G&T Drizzle Cake. Gin, tonic, and lime zest cake injected with a gin and lime simple syrup iced with a gin, tonic, and lime drizzle icing.

Tell us about your proudest moment – or humble failure – in this week’s baking challenge.

As with any cake made in a Bundt tin, my proudest moment was when it didn’t stick as it was turned out! The drizzle icing is probably the only let down. It tastes beautiful, but it doesn’t have the visual pop I wanted.

Describe how you added a Wisconsin twist to your creation.

I used Garden Gate gin from the local Wollersheim Distillery!
