What was the biggest surprise during your baking journey? Did you use any unconventional approaches? What did you learn along the way? Tell us about it!
The biggest surprise was discovering how easy it is to make caramel: you just have to make it slowly and patiently, then use it quickly once it’s done!
How did you add a Wisconsin twist to your flavors or decoration?
I used fresh eggs from my beautiful chickens and, of course, Wisconsin milk. Now that I have the base recipe under my belt, I think it would be wonderful to infuse these with maple, apple or even cranberry for the perfect Wisconsin twist!
