Rockin raisin and Razz-Ma-Tazz Raspberry: This week we decided to do a bread pudding using a recipe that was passed down from Maddy's Great Grandma Betty. We felt it fit best into the sponge pudding category. The first flavor of pudding was the classic raisin. We both came up with the second flavor. It included home grown raspberries, cream cheese, coconut and honey.
What was the biggest surprise during your baking journey? Did you use any unconventional approaches? What did you learn along the way? Tell us about it!
We used an unconventional approach and created our raspberry flavor in the bread pudding.
How did you add a Wisconsin twist to your flavors or decoration?
Once again we used home grown raspberries as a flavor twist in our bread pudding. We used Wisconsin dairy products and Wisconsin honey. This recipe is also a family classic. It has been passed down from Maddy's Great Grandma.
